Stories From My Childhood ( with hidden secrets 02)

These are simple stories I heard from my parents when I was a small child.. They learnt them from time to time in their Life, these could be some riddles or folklores in certain countries.. This one is a story from Chinese Buddhist literature.. But they contain much truth and Life lessons.. So I thought that my readers would benefit from hearing these.. They may sound childish.. But they are created for the society by very wise people.. Read and take them in to your account.. Because most of the time adults are the ones who do childish things.. I learned it solely from My life..

How Lord Buddha explain about the Life and Its Problems (Chinese folklore)..

A fine day a garden of the temple is full with monks, who in the middle of them was Lord Buddha.. He is the greatest teacher who really understood the Life and its way.. So Lord Buddha taught many things to his followers through examples and simple yet deep actions.. so lord Buddha handed over a piece of cloth to Ananda thero, A very wise and noble follower of Buddha.. Lord Buddha’s closest follower was Ananda thero and he is the one who looked after Lord Buddha until Buddha’s death..

“Ananda, can you make a knot for me out of this cloth please..” so Ananda thero did what his Teacher asked him while other monks carefully watching him do that..

“I have some questions for you Ananda, please answer me for the edification of others..”

“You made a knot out of this piece of cloth Ananda, is it the same cloth now or you name it as a different one now?” Lord Buddha asked him with a pleasant smile on his face..

So Ananda thero replied “I name it as a knot my lord, It is a different thing now.. it’s not equal to the cloth you previously gave me..”

“Is that so? “ Lord Buddha asked pleasantly “Untie the knot for me Ananda, it’s a great lesson trapped in that cloth..”

So Ananda thero did like Lord Buddha asked.. “As you can see Ananda.. It’s the same cloth that I handed over to you.. No difference in it.. Only difference is the way you see it..” Lord Buddha smiled and said this..

“My children, I like to tell you Your Life is like this cloth.. Problems are like The knot in it.. When it is there you think it’s some kind of different thing or some unearthly thing which fell on you.. But it’s not.. Life is the thing that create problems, But once you became wise you can untie these knots and realize that it’s a piece of Life that trapped in there.. A same life, with Knots of problem.. But it is the problems that teach you about life.. Do not run from problems, face them wisely and unwrap your true meaning of Life...”

Moral – You can’t avoid problems in your Life.. Problems are the true demonstrations of Life itself.. Like a knot appeared from a piece of cloth.. It is the way that you face the problems define your character.. So take into Account Lord Buddha’s teaching and find your way to success, Face every problem wisely and bravely..
